Mobile Cardiac (MCOT)
Mobile Cardiac Telemetry (MCOT)
Mobile Cardiac Telemetry (MCOT) is an advanced, continuous heart monitoring system that tracks your heart rhythm in real-time over extended periods—typically 1 to 30 days. Unlike traditional Holter monitors, MCOT provides immediate analysis and alerts for abnormal heart rhythms as they occur.
Our clinic uses state-of-the-art MCOT devices to ensure accurate detection of arrhythmias, enabling timely intervention and improved heart health outcomes.
MCOT is especially valuable for diagnosing and managing conditions such as:
- Intermittent arrhythmias that may be missed on EKG or Holter monitors
- Unexplained fainting or dizziness
- Palpitations or rapid heartbeats
- Assessing the effectiveness of cardiac medications
- High-risk patients needing continuous heart rhythm surveillance
With real-time monitoring and expert interpretation, MCOT provides a clear and comprehensive picture of your heart’s activity.
You will wear a small, wireless device attached to electrodes on your chest. The device transmits your heart rhythm continuously to a secure monitoring center. You can carry on with your daily routine while the system monitors your heart in real-time.
If any abnormal rhythm is detected, our cardiologists receive immediate alerts and can take appropriate action. After completing the monitoring period, we review the full data and provide a detailed report with recommendations.
- Continuous real-time heart monitoring for accurate detection
- State-of-the-art wireless MCOT devices for comfort and reliability
- Immediate alerts and expert review by board-certified cardiologists
- Patient-friendly support throughout the monitoring period
Our MCOT service ensures that even subtle or intermittent arrhythmias are promptly identified, giving you peace of mind and enabling timely cardiac care.
